G e n e r a l d i s t r i b u t i o n: Eremian, extending from North Africa to Middle East, Middle Asia, Ethiopia, and Sudan.

B i o l o g y: G. luridus feeds upon Aphids and little Heteroptera (both eggs and larvae) living on several Tamarix ( Tamaricaceae ) ( PÉRICART 1998).
