Etymology. The specific name is a patronymic honoring Naylien Barreda Leyva, the first author’s wife.

Diagnosis. Males of N. naylienae n. sp. resembles those of N. guarani by having a short copulatory bulb (tegulum + embolus), the length just two times or less the palpal tibia length ( Figs 1 View FIGURE 1 B–C; 4B–C), but differ by the swollen tegulum apical section (tas), just a little wider than basal section and similar to the palpal tibia width ( Figs 4 View FIGURE 4 B–C; 8H) and by the beveled embolus tip with very long rooster crest like projections ( Fig. 7 View FIGURE 7 A–F). Females are readily recognized by the concave distal margin of receptaculum (dmr) with two triangular lobes both sides ( Figs 4I View FIGURE 4 ; 7 View FIGURE 7 G–H; 10B) and the narrower posterior plate ( Fig. 10B View FIGURE 10 ). Additionally, both males and females present a marked carapace pattern ( Fig. 4A, E, G View FIGURE 4 ) as in Nyetnops guarani , but lighter in color.

Description. Male (holotype IBSP 89356): Total length 5.6. Carapace 1.8 long, 1.7 wide. Sternum 1.7 long, 1.6 wide. Leg measurements: I: 2.80; II: 2.75; III: 2.30; IV: 3.05. Carapace orange with a pattern ( Fig. 4E View FIGURE 4 ). Chelicerae, palps and legs orange; coxae and trochanters lighter. Endites, labium and sternum light orange. Abdomen gray, without a remarkable pattern ( Fig. 4A View FIGURE 4 ). Anal tubercle and spinnerets lighter than abdomen. Anterior legs without arolium, crista or gladius ( Figs 5H View FIGURE 5 ; 6A View FIGURE 6 ). Palp with elongated copulatory bulb and apical section of tegulum swollen ( Figs 6 View FIGURE 6 D–F; 8H), tegulum surface mostly smooth, connecting with an elongated embolus with a surface mostly covered with fine and longitudinal grooves ( Fig. 7 View FIGURE 7 A–F), embolus tip beveled and slightly sinuous with very long rooster crest like projections ( Fig. 7B View FIGURE 7 ).

Female (paratype IBSP 89356): Total length 5.7. Carapace 1.8 long, 1.6 wide. Sternum 1.7 long, 1.6 wide. Leg measurements: I: 2.75; II: 2.70; III: 2.25; IV: 3.0. Same color and patterns as in males. Anterior legs without aro- lium, crista or gladius. External genital area with anterior plate weakly sclerotized ( Fig. 4H View FIGURE 4 ), posterior plate narrow; internal area with a concave distal margin of posterior receptaculum which has two triangular lobes both sides ( Figs 7 View FIGURE 7 G–H; 10B).

Distribution. Known only from Huanuco, Peru ( Fig. 10C View FIGURE 10 ).
