Tetralicia granulata Sampson & Drews, 1941: 169 . Syntypes puparia. Mexico: Sinaloa, Mazatlan , iv.1926, on undetermined plant; in UCD.

Aleuropleurocelus granulata ( Sampson & Drews, 1941) ; Mound & Halsey (1978: 59).

Distribution: Nearctic: USA (Florida, Texas); Neotropical: Mexico.

Host: Verbenaceae : on undetermined plant.

Comment: Stocks (2016) reported this species from Palm Beach County, Florida in 2008 and also from Texas. Sanchez-Flores et al. 2020 erected and provided a key to species in Aleuropleurocelus ceanothi group placing this species in the group and providing illustrations of the species.
