Material examined. China: Guizhou: 5♂♂, Mt.Fanjing , 23.VII.2003, Li-Zhen Li leg. ( SHNU) ; 1♂ 1♀, same data except Hu & Tang leg. ( SHNU) .
Measurements. BL: 5.8–6.0 mm, FL: 3.1–3.2 mm. HW: 1.07–1.09 mm, PL: 0.88–0.96 mm, PW: 0.88–0.90 mm, EL: 1.33–1.40 mm, EW: 1.29–1.33 mm, SL: 0.18–1.25 mm. Head 0.81–0.84 times as wide as elytra, pronotum 0.97–1.06 times as long as wide, elytra 1.02–1.07 times as long as wide.
Distribution. China ( HongKong, Fujian, Hubei, Shaanxi, Guizhou).
Remarks. The species belongs to Dianous ocellatus complex. It is similar to D. luteolunatus Puthz, 1980 from Guangxi, Guangdong, Laos, Vietnam and Myanmar, but it differs from the latter by the denser and smaller punctures of head and by the smaller elytral marks. The species is new to Guizhou.
