Material examined. China: S-Sichuan: 2♂♂ 1♀, S Yanyuan, Chuandongzi - Massif, 27°21’05’’N, 101°30’26’’E, 3200 m, 8–19.VI.2017, leg Reuter. (cPut) GoogleMaps .

Measurements. BL: 5.2–5.4 mm, FL: 2.8–3.0 mm. HW: 0.98–1.02 mm, PL: 0.75–0.79 mm, PW: 0.68–0.74 mm, EL: 1.12–1.18 mm, EW: 1.07–1.14 mm, SL: 0.94–0.96 mm. Head 0.88–0.91 times as wide as elytra, pronotum 1.02–1.16 times as long as wide, elytra 1.03–1.05 times as long as wide.

Distribution. China (Yunnan, Sichuan).

Remarks. The species belongs to Dianous Group I. It is similar to D. carinipennis Bernhauer, 1914 and D. nilgiriensis Puthz, 1995 , both from India, but can be distinguished from the latter two species by the less confluent punctation on pronotum and with vorticose sculpture on posterior half of elytra. The species is new to Sichuan.
