Ommatius pulchra ; Curran 1928:1; Scarbrough 1990: 66; Vieira, Castro & Bravo 2005: 19. Ommatius pulcher View in CoL ; Martin & Papavero 1970 (35b): 60 (catalogue); Scarbrough 2008: 8, figs 4, 33–41.

Variation. In the redescription of Scarbrough (2008), the hind femur of the male of O. pulcher has 7–10 anteroventral macrosetae, whereas the female has 1 black or yellow basal macroseta posteroventrally and 2 or 3 apically. The additional male specimen from Rondônia State differs from the redescription of Scarbrough (2008) by the presence of 12 anteroventral macrosetae on the hind femur, while the female also from Rondônia State does not have posteroventral macrosetae on the hind femur.
