Apirocalodes wegneri Voss

Apirocalodes wegneri Voss, 1961: 250–251 . Type locality: W-Flores, Rana Mese.

Description. ( Fig. 1a ). Length. Pronotum plus elytron 5.60 mm. Integument black, legs ferruginous; with recumbent greyish scales. Head with vertex anteriorly rugose. Rostrum ca. as long as wide (0.98 X), sides subparallel; dorsum with median furrow. Pronotum 1.08 X as long as wide, punctate-rugose, anteriorly at middle with subglabrous swelling; with scattered appressed grey scales and sparse short bristles. Elytra 0.84 X as long as wide; dorsally weakly convex; from humerus with band of white overlapping scales, largely on interval 7, leading to anterior apex of elytral process. Abdomen. Ventrites 5 with suberect setae. Genitalia. Penis ( Fig. 1b ) with sides of body subparallel, apex rounded. Apodeme ca. 2.1 X as long as body of penis. Intraspecific variation. Length. Pronotum plus elytron 4.75–6.10 mm.

Material examined. INDONESIA, Flores Isl. : 29 exx, ARC3550 (GenBank # LN866368) , ARC3551 , Ruteng, Gn. Ranaka, S08° 38.239´E120° 31.726´, 2125 m, 09-III-2011 ( SMNK) .

Notes. The description of Voss (1961) is based on 13 syntypes that could not be examined. However, specimens collected near the type locality were available for description and sequencing.
