Biological notes. A small series of specimens belonging to this rather common species, widespread in central China, was recently collected by the authors ML, MH and PA (July 2015) in several localities of northern Sichuan [Jiuzhaigou Valley; Nanping area, pond-lake of Gan (Ganhaizi)] and southern Shaanxi [Taibai Mts]. All specimens were collected on flowering Rosa sp. with large whitish-pink flowers, still pending specific identification ( Rosaceae ). As hypothesized by Audisio et al. (2015), Rosa spp. are likely the larval host-plants of this species.
