Diagnosis.
Liphistius differs from the other seven liphistiid genera by the presence of signal lines radiating from the burrow’s entrance (Fig. 1B, C View Figure 1 ), by the male palp having a tibial apophysis (Figs 3A View Figure 3 , 4A View Figure 4 , 5A View Figure 5 ), and by the female genitalia having a sclerotized poreplate and a median receptacular cluster (Figs 3H-I View Figure 3 , 4H-M View Figure 4 , 5H-J View Figure 5 ).
Distribution.
China (Yunnan Province), Indonesia (Sumatra), Laos, Peninsular Malaysia, Myanmar, and Thailand.
