Diagnosis: Anterior setigers absent, 3 long branched anal cirri. Nuchal organs present on neck, function as chemosensors ( Read, 2000).
Distribution: India - West coast of India from Cape Comorin to Dwarka ( Joydas & Damodaran, 2009), East coast of India (Vasishta Godavari Estuary) ( Rao et al., 2009), Thondi, Palk bay ( Anbuchezhian et al., 2012), Calicut, Kochi ( Musale & Desai, 2011). World-Seto Inland Sea, Japan ( Kitamori, 1960).
