D e s c r i p t i o n: ♀. Length 13-17 mm. Flagellum long and bristle-shaped, with 55- 61 flagellomeres; 1 st flagellomere 4.8-5.2× as long as wide and 0.7× as long as eye; distal flagellomeres as long as wide. Temple moderately and roundly narrowed behind eye. OED 1.8-2.2× ocellar diameter. Inner eye margins slightly convergent ventrally. Minimal facial width 0.8-0.9× eye length. Clypeus 1.5× as wide as long. MI 0.6-0.8. Mandible elongate. Epomia weak. Mesoscutum very densely punctate, smooth and shining between punctures. Scutellum not carinate. Propodeum coarsely rugose; spiracle slit-shaped, apical transversal carina absent. Hind femur 5.2-5.6× as long as wide. Hind claws long, moderately bent apically, with long basal teeth. Areolet stalked frontally, oblique; vein 2m-cu in its middle; ramellus usually long; vein 1cu-a slightly postfurcal or interstitial. Metasoma smooth and shining. 1 st tergite 1.7-2.0× as long as wide, with ± distinct median impression and sparse punctures and short setae laterally. 2 nd tergite 0.8- 1.0× as long as wide. Ovipositor sheath 0.2-0.3× as long as hind tibia and 0.4-0.5x as long as 1 st tergite; ovipositor straight.
Color: black. Setae of head and mesosoma brown. Clypeus sometimes reddish apically. Coxae and trochanters black; legs otherwise mainly red; hind tibia in apical 0.2-0.5 and hind tarsus entirely black. Wings ± infuscate, pterostigma ochreous.
♁. Length 12-17 mm. Flagellum with 51-56 flagellomeres; 1 st flagellomere 4.3× as long as wide and 0.7× as long as eye; preapical flagellomeres longer than wide. Head and mesosoma with rather dense long setae. Hind femur 5.2-5.5× as long as wide. Hind claws pectinate in basal 1/3. 1 st tergite 1.6-1.9× as long as wide, median impression usually weak. 2 nd tergite 0.8-0.9× as long as wide. Color as described for the ♀. Clypeus sometimes ± yellow or red.
