Material. 1♀, China, Guizhou Prov., Fenggou ,?. VIII.1989, Du Yuzhou, No. 940439 ( ZJUH) .

Biology. The hosts are mostly species of Pyralidae (Lepidoptera) , including: Chilo infuscatellus Snellen, 1890 , Chilo suppressalis (Walker, 1863) , Scirpophaga incertulas (Walker, 1863) and Scirpophaga nivella (Fabricius, 1794) ; and one species of Brachodidae (Lepidoptera) : Procerata sacchariphaga (Bojer, 1856) ( Chen et al. 2009) .

Distribution. China (* Guizhou, Hongkong, Taiwan); India, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam.

Note. Matsumura (1911) first reported this species from Taiwan (SE. China) and Watanabe (1932) from Hongkong and Taiwan (SE. China).
