Sasajiscymnus hosonaga Kitano, 2012: 227 (type locality: Nantou, Taiwan, China)— Iqbal et al. 2020: 384.

Diagnosis. This species is similar to S. ohtai ( Yang & Wu, 1972) , but can be distinguished from the later by its pronotum entirely black ( Kitano 2012). In S. ohtai , pronotum is yellowish brown with a large black spot at base ( Fig. 9a ).

Material examined. None.

Distribution. China (Taiwan).
