Sasajiscymnus intricatus Tong & Wang sp. nov.

Chinese name: Üūḧ瓢•
Diagnosis. This species is similar to S. amplus ( Yang & Wu, 1972) , but can be distinguished from the later by its entirely yellowish brown elytra (Figs 46a–b). In S. amplus , elytra are black with yellowish brown apices ( Figs 47a–b View FIGURE 47 ).
Description. TL: 2.56–2.87 mm, TW: 1.99–2.29 mm, TH: 1.20–1.42 mm.
Body oval, moderately convex, surfaces covered with short pubescence (Figs 46a–c). Body uniformly yellowish brown. Interocular distance distinctly greater than eye width in frontal view. Abdominal postcoxal lines incomplete, not recurved toward the base of ventrite (Fig. 46d).
Male genitalia: Penis long and slender, penis capsule with inconspicuous outer arm and long inner one, apex of penis twisted and forming a knot (Figs 46e–f). Penis guide long and slender in lateral view, arcuate and gradually narrowing to pointed apex; parameres about 1/4 as long as penis guide, with a tuft of long setae at apex; penis guide approximately parallel sided for basal 2/ 3 in ventral view, then tapering towards blunt apex (Figs 46g –h).
Female genitalia: Coxites shaped board plates; styli absent; spermatheca cylinder-shaped, with basal ramus and nodulus ( Figs 3j, 3n View FIGURE 3 ).

Distribution. China (Anhui, Fujian, Yunnan, Xizang).
Etymology. The specific epithet intricatus derives from the Latin word “intricatus” and refers to the apically intricate penis.
