Colonies erect. Autozooecia elongated in regular longitudinal rows with marginal areolar pores. Aperture on a peristome, without condyles and spines but with lyrula. Small tooth situated on the lyrula growing together with the peristome and forming an elongated ridge on the proximal margin of the peristome and tapering distally (inside the peristome). No avicularia.
