Type host. Tufted duck, Aythya fuligula (Linnaeus) (Syns. Anas fuligula Linnaeus ; Fuligula fuligula [Linnaeus]) ( Anseriformes : Anatidae ).

Type locality. Germany; specific type locality unknown.
