Distribution in Iran. Iran (no locality cited) ( Khanjani 2004).
Distribution outside Iran. Belgium, Cameroon, China, France, Hungary, Japan, Korea, Moldova, Romania, Russia, UK ( Yu et al. 2012), Canada (introduced) ( Shenefelt 1972; Nixon 1973), USA ( Shenfelt 1972). Host records. Gregarious parasite of the European corn borror, Ostrinia nubilalis occuring in France and Belgium on Artemisia vulgaris ( Nixon 1973; Yu et al. 2012). It has been imported in North America against O.
nubilalis View in CoL ( Jones 1929; Yu et al. 2012). Shenefelt (1972) reported Ostrinia nubilalis View in CoL , Bambusiphila vulgaris View in CoL , Pyrausta View in CoL sp., Ostrinia penitalis View in CoL as hosts of this species.
