Distribution in Iran. Isfahan ( Sobhani et al. 2012; Nobakht et al. 2015), Markazi, Qom, Tehran ( Kishani et al. 2008a, 2010), Kerman ( Mehrnejad 2010 as Iconella myeloenta ), Qazvin (Ghahari et al. 2011b as Iconella myeloenta ).

Distribution outside Iran. Cyprus, Greece, Moldova, Spain, Turkey, Turkmenistan ( Yu et al. 2012).

Host records. Arimania komaroffi ( Mehrnejad 2010) , Myelois ceratoniae ( Wilkinson 1937; Nixon 1965; Shenefelt 1972; Papp 2007; Kishani et al. 2008a, b, 2010; Sobhani et al. 2012; Yu et al. 2012), Apomyelois ceratoniae ( Nobakht et al. 2015) .
