Distribution in Iran. Isfahan ( Kazemzadeh et al. 2014 as Dolichogenidea appellator ).
Distribution outside Iran. Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Cape Verde Islands, China, Cyprus, Egypt, England, Germany, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Mongolia, Romania, Russia, Selvagens Islands, Spain, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, former Yugoslavia ( Yu et al. 2012).
Host records. In Iran, it has been reported from Plutella xylostella in cabbage fields in Isfahan ( Kazemzadeh et al. 2014). In Bulgaria, it has been reported from Pyrausta purpuralis , P. sanguinalis , Spilonota ocellana ( Balevski 1999) , Etiella zinkenella and Phthorimaea operculella ( Yu et al. 2012) . Also, Athalia rosae was recorded by Yu et al. (2012).
