Nomina nuda

· Allotria fusca Dahlbom, 1842 . Nomen nudum ( Kieffer, 1902b: 77).

· Allotria thoreyi Dahlbom, 1842 . Nomen nudum ( Kieffer, 1902b: 78).

· Xystus xanthocephala Dahlbom, 1842 . Nomen nudum ( Kieffer, 1902b: 78).

· Allotria pusillina Giraud, 1877 . Nomen nudum ( Kieffer, 1902b: 78).

· Charips aphidiinaecida de Santis, 1937 . Nomen nudum ( Pujade-Villar et al., 2002: 543).

· Alloxysta keudelli Hedicke, 1927 . Nomen nudum ( Kierych, 1979a: 16).

· Allotria amygdali Buckton, 1879 nomen nudum

COMMENTS. Buckton collected on Aphis amygdali a species that he described as Cynips atriceps . Later, in 1902b: 77, Kieffer mentioned that Buckton had described two species on Aphis amygdali : Cynips atriceps and Cynips amygdali . This last species is a mistake because it was never described by Buckton.

Thus, Cynips amygdali and the posterior combination Allotria amygdali must be considered as nomen nudum.

· Allotria polita Provancher, 1881 nomen nudum

COMMENTS. First published in Brodie & White (1883: 5). After looking in Zoological Records for all Provancher species described prior to 1884, none has found with the name Allotria polita ; we conclude that the Check list of Insects of the dominiom of Canada by Brodie & White (1883) they added an undescribed species from Provancher. As a result, Allotria polita should be regarded as nomen nudum.
