Diagnosis.
Color pattern as shown in Figs 2 F View Figure 2 , 3 E View Figure 3 , 12 F View Figure 12 . Males: profemur moderately incrassate; ventral side of the profemur with two tufts of dark setae on apical 1 / 2 (Fig. 6 F View Figure 6 ); protibia slightly curved and with an indistinct tumescence on basal 1 / 3 (Fig. 6 F View Figure 6 ); abdominal segment VIII relatively long (Fig. 7 E View Figure 7 ); pygophore posteriorly with a blunt T-shaped median process and a pair of right-angled lateral processes in ventral view (Figs 8 E View Figure 8 , 9 E View Figure 9 ); median process of pygophore relatively narrow in lateral view (Figs 10 E View Figure 10 , 11 E View Figure 11 ); posterior margin of pygophore nearly truncate ventrally (Figs 8 E View Figure 8 , 9 E View Figure 9 ); lateral arm of proctiger relatively curved in ventral view (Fig. 8 E View Figure 8 ), without subapical process in lateral view (Fig. 10 E View Figure 10 ).
Comparative notes.
Amemboa esakii is distinct from all congeners in having a T-shaped median process and a truncate posterior margin of pygophore in ventral view (Figs 8 E View Figure 8 , 9 E View Figure 9 ).
