Remarks. De Broyer et al. (2007) considered W. arnaudi ( Bellan-Santini, 1972) and W. robusta Ren & Huang, 1991 to be a juveniles of W. obesa . We accept this decision. Waldeckia obesa differs from all other species (except W. tangaroa sp. nov.) in having a labrum with separate epistome and upper lip. It also differs from all other species of Waldeckia in having a strong spine above rounded posteroventral corner of epimeron 3. Distribution. Circum-Antarctic.
