This endemic species is only known from southern New Caledonia (Ouen-Toro, sclerophyllous forest, dense rain forest and ultramafic shrubs in Rivière Bleue, dense rain forest in La Thi Valley). It is an uncommon species and no information is available on its prey preferences.
