Paracycloneura View in CoL sp.
A male specimen we studied has the wing as extensively dark as is found in P. inopinata , while the first antennal flagllomeres are dark with light bases. The slide-mount of this specimen is in poor shape, which makes assessment of genitalic characters difficult. It differs from P. inopinata , at least, in details of the vestiture on the gonocoxal lobes, and in the aedeagus/paramere complex that includes a strongly sclerotized, pointed tegmen. Adequately prepared specimens are needed in order to be certain as to the specific characters of this apparently new species.
Material studied. SO. WL: 1* male, 1* female, Westland N. P., Fox Glacier Village, 23 Oct. 2001, M. Jaschhof.
