The holotype is deposited in NMPC (general collection):

HOLOTYPE (J): ‘ AZERBAIDJAN 10.6.1979 / BEŽ-BARMA / V. ŠVIHLA leg. [hw] // Holo- / typus [p, red label] // Dasytidius / svihlai sp.n. [hw] K. Majer det. [p] 1987 / HOLOTYPUS [hw] // Dasytidius J / nigripes (Pic) / K. Majer det. 1993 [p]’.

Current status. Junior subjective synonym of Dasytidius nigripes (Pic, 1894) , see MAJER (1996a).

Remark. MAJER (1991b) stated in the original description that the holotype of D. svihlai was deposited in NMPC. However, in fact, it stayed in Majer’s private collection and was sold to Naturhistorisches Museum Wien (NHMW) in 1995 (see JÄCH 1995). The holotype was returned to NMPC in 2012 by the courtesy of NHMW employees.
