Quicke; 3 3, 6 ƤƤ, Nanheng Sanshan between 144 & 145 km post, Kaohsiung, 23.15.970 N 120.56.373E, Taiwan, 2574 m, 11.viii.2008, leg. G. Martin and D.L.J. Quicke (genitalia slide Nos. LWC09053, LWC09055, 09057); 1 3, Heping Dayueshan National Forest Recreation Area, Taichung, 24.15.315 N 121.00.374E, Taiwan, 2223 m, 28.v.2007, leg. G. Martin and D.L.J. Quicke ( BMNH).
Diagnosis. This species is similar to E. zhongdianensis sp. n. and E. tibetalis ( Caradja, 1937) in the male genitalia, but can be distinguished by the forewing patterns and female genitalia. The differences of them are stated under E. zhongdianensis sp. n. and E. tibetalis .
Distribution. China ( Taiwan).
