Lectotype (Hedge in Jarvis & al. in Taxon 50: 517. 2001): Herb. Linn. No. 19: Salvia glutinosa ( H) .

Current name: Salvia glutinosa L. View in CoL ( Lamiaceae ).

Note: Hedge (in Notes Roy. Bot. Gard. Edinburgh 23: 206. 1961; in Rechinger, Fl. Iranica 150: 467. 1982) indicated sheet 42.34 (LINN) as type, but this is a post-1753 addition to the herbarium. A sheet from the Linnaean herbarium in Helsinki, described and illustrated by Kukkonen & Viljamaa (in Ann. Bot. Fennici 10: 313, f. 1. 1973), was therefore designated by Hedge as lectotype in its place.
