Diagnosis: Male with inner surstyli as in Fig. 28 View FIGURES 24 – 33 . Phallus ( Fig. 7 View FIGURES 7 – 11 ), phs straight; tdp long and rounded at apex; Lmtdp:Ltdp~1.9; two php which are distinctly longer than mtdp (almost twice its length); all ejaculatory ducts placed distally on mtdp; ejaculatory apodeme parasol-shaped (as in Fig. 19 View FIGURES 12 – 23 ); Female with frontal facets moderately enlarged (J92 Fig. 4 View FIGURES 1 – 6 F); frons rather broad, at narrowest point 2–2.5 times diameter of largest frontal facet; flagellum dark brown; legs dark brown but may be paler ventrobasally on femora and around femoraltibial joints; pulvilli of all legs of same size, shorter than distitarsus; hairs on femora dark brown; hairs on thorax and abdomen dark brown; hind femur with apical hairs of pdsr extending as far as apex; abdominal tergites dark brown; ovipositor as in Fig. 70 View FIGURES 63 – 75 . Annotations: Males were first described by Dempewolf (1998) and correctly assigned to this species. A female paratype was obtained for study ( Finland, Ekenäs, 13 June 1977) which has not been dissected in the past. However, a microvial containing another abdomen plus ovipositor has been attached to the same needle in the past. No host records are available.
