Distribution

First recorded from Finland by Zatwarnicki and Kahanpää (2014). Widespread in Europe, it is also found in North Africa ( Zatwarnicki 2013). The illustrated record by Kahanpää (2013) represents Parydra nigritarsis Strobl, 1893.
