Type material. Holotype: ♂ ( MHBU-ARA-00023389 ), CHINA: Yunnan Province, Dali City, Jisheqing Water Reserve (ḚZÎ保ḁ区), 25.7369°N, 100.1241°E, 2164 m elev., 13 July 2021, leg. J. Zhang. GoogleMaps

Paratypes: 2♂ 2♀ ( MHBU-ARA-00023423 ), same data as holotype GoogleMaps .

Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from the ancient name of Dali City: Yeyu City (叶dzẅ). Noun in apposition.

Diagnosis. The new species closely resembles E. ailao sp. nov., E. yangmei and E. shenjun in the genital morphology, but can be distinguished by: (1) the embolus straighter in ventral view; (2) the thinner RTA in retrolateral view; (3) the white setae on the carapace concentrated in certain area, rather than scattered around; (4) the spermathecae almost equal in length and width, smaller than 1/2 of the epigynal window in ventral view.

Measurements of legs: I 3.784 (1.209, 0.599, 0.914, 0.600, 0.462), II 3.297 (1.075, 0.469, 0.782, 0.551, 0.420), III 3.545 (1.203, 0.479, 0.720, 0.735, 0.408), IV 3.990 (1.239, 0.500, 0.868, 0.931, 0.452); leg formula: 4132. Color in ethanol: carapace dark brown, covered with yellowish setae. Abdomen dark, with yellow and brown bands. Chelicera ( Fig. 125 View FIGURES 121–129 ) with two promarginal and one retromarginal teeth. Palp ( Figs 126–127 View FIGURES 121–129 , 130–132 View FIGURES 130–134 ): distal femur, patella and tibia with long white setae; embolic disc large, partly hidden by tegulum in ventral view, slightly tilted retrolaterally; embolus tapered, relatively straight in ventral view; CyF notably extended; RTA tapered.

Color in ethanol: like that of male. Chelicerae as in male. Epigyne ( Figs 128–129 View FIGURES 121–129 , 133–134 View FIGURES 130–134 ): epigynal window large; copulatory openings located at anterior margin of epigynal window; copulatory ducts running anteriorly to copulatory openings, with developed accessory glands; spermathecae circular.
