Type material. Holotype: ♂ ( MHBU-ARA-00022217 ), CHINA: Guizhou Province, Zunyi City, Tongzi County, Chumi Town , Liangfengya Forest Park (ên垭f×ȓ园), 28.2576°N, 106.8469°E, 1405 m elev., 28 July 2019, leg. Z. Li. GoogleMaps
Paratype: 1♀ ( MHBU-ARA-00022258 ), same data as holotype GoogleMaps .
Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from the type locality: Zunyi City. Noun in apposition.
Diagnosis. Male palp closely resembles those of E. bamianshanensis , but can be recognized by: (1) the embolic opening facing upwards in ventral view; (2) the embolic disc being largely hidden by the tegulum. Female can be distinguished from E. bamianshanensis by the copulatory openings located close to the posterior margin of epigynal window (at anterior margin in E. bamianshanensis ).
Description. Male. Habitus shown in Figs162, 164 View FIGURES 162–170 . Carapace length 1.517; abdomen length 1.430. Measurements of eyes: AME 0.350, ALE 0.244, PME 0.067, PLE 0.202. Measurements of legs: I 1.868 (0.581, 0.294, 0.400, 0.302, 0.291), II 1.624 (0.514, 0.227, 0.363, 0.269, 0.251), III 1.979 (0.657, 0.236, 0.425, 0.371, 0.290), IV 2.375 (0.761, 0.241, 0.502, 0.513, 0.358); leg formula: 4312. Color in ethanol: carapace dark brown, ocular area scattered with yellow setae. Abdomen dark brown, with light yellowish-white bands. Chelicera ( Fig. 166 View FIGURES 162–170 ) with two promarginal and one retromarginal teeth. Palp ( Figs 167–168 View FIGURES 162–170 , 171–174 View FIGURES 171–176 ): distal femur, patella and tibia covered with long white setae; most part of embolic disc hidden beneath tegulum; embolus robust, nearly screw-like; CyF prominent; RTA robust.
