Type:— GUADELOUPE. Basse-Terre (Lectotypus hic designatus: P!, slide AD7747, “ Source chaude de ‘Bouillante’, située au niveau de la mer, dans le secteur pierreux et aride du littoral occidental, ‘ sous le vent ’; pluviométrie: 1m. 50 par an; eau à salinité forte, à temperature de 50–60° au point de jaillissement (11/2/36) ”, slide made from sample n° 24, leg. P. Allorge, in Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle, Paris) .
