Tritonoharpa sp. — Bałuk 1997: 52, pl. 17, figs 1–2.
Discussion. Records of Tritonoharpa for the European Neogene are extremely scarce. A single fragment was illustrated by Bellardi (1872, pl. 14, fig. 12) from the Burdigalian of the Turin Hills in Italy and further fragments of a different species with coarser sculpture by Bałuk (1997) from the Paratethyan Middle Miocene of Poland. Despite this gap in the literature, the genus seems to have been relatively widespread, as it occurs in the Miocene of France (B.L. coll.) and Turkey (B.L. coll.). Unfortunately, the Paratethyan material is too fragmentary to establish a new species.
Distribution. Paratethys —Badenian: Polish–Carpathian Foredeep ( Poland: Plebania at Korytnica).
