Type genus. -

Batrachidea Serville, 1838.

Diagnosis. -

Antennae with more than 19 segments, paranota rectangular, mid-femora with sulcate dorsal margin, female spermatheca with two diverticula.

Composition. -

Batrachideini (Southern and Northern America), Cassitettigini (Africa and SE Asia), Bufonidini (New Guinea, Australia, New Caledonia, and Solomon islands) ( Storozhenko 2019), and Rusmithini trib. nov. (Eocene Europe, extinct).
