Specimens examined. Colombia: Amazonas: Amacayacu, NNP Amacayacu, 01.VIII.2011, J. Noriega, Malaise trap in canopy (1 ♀—ANDES-E).
Diagnosis. Forewing base amber, hindwing with costal field amber. Male with ventromedial lobe of ectoproct completely sclerotized, flattened and plate-shaped, dorsally rounded and covered with 6‒10 short and thick setae, posteroventrally elongated, narrow, with 6‒10 setae at apex.
Remarks. Dicromantispa moulti is widely distributed in the Amazon basin. It is here recorded for Colombia for the first time. This species has been captured with light traps in the canopy and it can be collected at almost any time of year, with only May and June lacking records ( Machado & Rafael 2010).
Distribution. Brazil, Colombia, French Guiana.
