Type: ― SOUTH-WEST AFRICA [ NAMIBIA ]. Welwitschia (2014 AC): Farm Vrede OU 719, im Bestand am Huab Revierufer auf Schwemmboden, 2 m, 14 April 1964, Giess 7947 (holotype M-0107424!; isotypes PRE-0538949-0!, WIND!).
Distribution: ― Namibia : Skeleton Coast (Huab River).
