Carpinus View in CoL sp. is here recorded for the first time as new host for Pteleobius vittatus View in CoL . In the past this species was collected only from Ulmus suberosa View in CoL , U. laevis View in CoL and U. foliacea View in CoL ( Pfeffer 1995; Bright 2014).
