Remarks

In the North Atlantic and Arctic Oceans, the genus Liljeborgia includes species with an elliptic basis on the three posterior pairs of pereiopods and species with a rectangular

basis. The latter cluster of species forms the “group fissicornis ”, which may or may not be a clade. This group is the subject of the present study.
