Generic diagnosis. Dorsum of palpal basifemur ( Den Heyer 1978) with a simple seta; palpal telofemur armed with a spine–like dorsal seta; apophysis present on palpal genu; female palp with a median spine–like apophysis on palpal telofemur, which is lacking in males. Dorsal propodosoma with plates, dorsal chaetotaxy includes two pairs of fine setose sensillae (vi and sce), with posterior pair (sce) longest, six pairs of tactile setae in dorso–central and three pairs of dorso–lateral series. Anal region with a pair of anal setae and two pairs of para–anal setae. Proximal sensory complex on dorsal aspect of tarsus I with famulus (fam). Chaetotaxy of telofemora I–IV include 4–4 4–4 sts, respectively and chaetotaxy of coxal plates I–IV 3–1 (or 2 in ♀) or 2 (resp. 1 in ♂)–3–3 sts, respectively.
