No material of this species was seen during this study. The status of this species is uncertain but it is here considered likely to be a synonym of either W. mimosae (Signoret) View in CoL or Waxiella senegalensis (Marchal) . However, it was collected on Euphorbia sp. (Euphorbiaceae) at Neghelli in Ethiopia and, as no other species of Waxiella View in CoL has been collected on Euphorbiaceae View in CoL , it may prove to be a good species.
