Diagnosis. Male. Tergal process with circular depression, dense tufts of setae directed backward, tubercle absent. Remarks. It has four species: D. napo Evans , D. punctatus , D. bahiensis Redighieri & Azevedo and D. tupinikim Colombo & Azevedo.
Distribution. Costa Rica, Panama, Ecuador, Peru, Brazil (Amazonas, Acre, Sergipe, Alagoas, Pernambuco, Paraíba, Mato Grosso, Bahia, Espírito Santo, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Paraná) and Paraguay.
