Dissomphalus strepsus Azevedo, 2001: 175 , 200–201 (♂ holotype from Costa Rica EMUS, figs 175–179).
Diagnosis. Mandible bidentate. Clypeus trapezoidal. Tergal process with pair of antero-lateral depressions, ovoid, deep, large with small pit covered by tuft of long setae. Hypopygium with posterior margin somewhat concave. Genitalia: paramere with apex oblique and concave; aedeagal dorsal ramus longer than aedeagal dorsal body, parallel, apical third directed downward and apex forward, sharpened and abruptly angled; inner margin with series of small teeth; aedeagal dorsal body with three pairs of apical lobes; outer pair with two rami, dorsal ramus parallel with apex narrow and angled downward, ventral ramus arched inward and dorsal ramus with apices nearly touching each other; inner pairs stout, membranose with rounded apex. Apodeme not extending beyond genital ring.
Remarks. This species is known to Costa Rica and Panama ( Azevedo 2001). Now one specimen is added. In this series the specimens are quite similar to those previously studied, without any variation that worths to mention.
