Diagnosis. Male. Head regularly wide. Mandible regularly long. Metasomal tergite II without tergal process. Aedeagal ventral ramus without apical filament. Aedeagal dorsal body without apical flagellae.
Remarks. It has eight species: D. amplus Redighieri & Azevedo , D. clovisi Colombo & Azevedo , D. kuara Colombo & Azevedo , D. pyata Colombo & Azevedo , D. miriamae Colombo & Azevedo , D. azagus sp. nov., D. asfartus sp. nov. and D. iozus sp. nov..
Distribution. Panama and Brazil (Espírito Santo).
