Distribution. Indonesia: Timor ( Stål 1863, Stehlík & Jindra 2008), Amboina (this paper). Records from New Britain ( Papua New Guinea) ( Kirkaldy 1905) and Java, Sulawesi, Saleyar Island (near southern Sulawesi), and Buru (all Indonesia) ( Blöte 1931, 1938) require confirmation.
Note. Stehlík & Jindra (2008) examined a female syntype of Physopelta fimbriata from NHRS, incorrectly interpreting it as holotype.
