Type material examined. Two female, 1 male and 3 female tritonymph paratypes ( IRSNB) from Gracilinanus microtarsus ( BMNH # 13.7.8.14.18), BRAZIL: Santa Catarina State, Joinville City , 26°18'18"S, 48°50'46"W, date unknown, coll. Rothschild. GoogleMaps

Holotype deposition. Holotype female (not examined) is deposited in BMNH .

Non-type material examined. Four females and 4 males from Marmosa robinsoni fulviventer , PANAMA:

Perlas Archipelago, San Miguel Island , 08 27’00’’N, 78 51’00’’W, 5. 08. 1970, coll. Ritte. Five GoogleMaps males and 2 females from Marmosa isthmica , PANAMA: Panama Prov., Rodman United States Naval Reservation , 08 57’00’’N, 79 35’00’’W, 21. September 1972, coll. Guerrero. GoogleMaps

Host range and distribution. This species is known from Gracilinanus microtarsus from Brazil (Santa Catarina) ( Fain 1965), Marmosa robinsoni fulviventer and M. isthmica from Panama ( Bochkov & Wauthy 2009).

Remarks. The record of this species from Caluromys derbianus from Panama by Bochkov and Wauthy (2009) should be referred to a new species Listropsoralges similis sp. n. We found the female paratype of L. marmosae from Marmosa murina from French Guiana which was considered to be lost ( Bochkov & Wauthy 2009). This specimen undoubtedly belongs to L. faini Bochkov and Wauthy, 2009 .
