Perlesta decipiens (Walsh) .

This variable species is common in larger, warmwater streams from Colorado and Wyoming east to Pennsylvania ( Stark 2004). It is widely distributed and often abundant in Illinois streams ( DeWalt et al. 2001). Only a few specimens have been reported for Indiana ( Grubbs 2004).

We present several records that indicate this species is similarly broadly-distributed in Indiana.
