Material examined. Type. Holotype, ♀: AUSTRALIA: Lord Howe Island: [no localities] ( SAMA). Other material. AUSTRALIA: Lord Howe Island: Malabar Trail, near Neds Beach, 1♀ ( AMNH).

Redescription. FEMALE. Apterous; length 4.4–5.1 mm. Head testaceous-reddish, except brown spot on vertex; antenna testaceous; mesosoma black, except scutum brown (in specimen from Lord Howe Island, near Neds Beach, reddish spots on scutum and metanotum); metasoma brown; legs testaceous, except part of coxae brown Antenna clavate; antennal segments in following proportions: 10:9:31:23:14:10:10:8:8:11. Head shiny, slightly granulated; frontal line incomplete, surrounded by longitudinal furrow; occipital carina incomplete, only shortly present on sides of posterior ocelli; POL = 1; OL = 2; OOL = 10. Palpal formula 4/2. Pronotum shiny, unsculptured, crossed by very slight transverse impression. Scutum dull, rugose, sculptured by some longitudinal striae. Scutellum dull, punctate. Metanotum with sides protruding; lateral protrusions rounded. Meso-metapleural suture distinct, complete, irregular. Metathorax + propodeum completely sculptured by strong transverse keels, with disc reticulate rugose. Protarsal segments in following proportions: 24:4:7:21:34. Enlarged claw ( Fig. 23 View FIGURES 21 – 23 ) with one large subapical tooth and one row of 12 lamellae. Segment 5 of protarsus ( Fig. 23 View FIGURES 21 – 23 ) with two rows of about 39 lamellae; distal apex with about 13 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/0/1.
