Current status: Lasionota (Lasionota) tetrazonus (Chevrolat, 1838) ( Bellamy, 2008) View in CoL .
Comments: Chevrolat (1838a:80), in his original description, named the species “ tetrazonus ”, but the label on the lectotype reads “ tetrazona”, probably in Chevrolat’s hand. The published text being decisive, the correct name is “ tetrazonus ”. Label’s data does not indicate the type locality, but the original description indicates that the species is from Patagonia.
