External characters. Wing span 14mm. Head and thorax white; labial palpi upturned. Forewing silvery white; medial line absent; submarginal line indistinct, pale brown, from costa to middle of outer margin; marginal area suffused with pale orange-yellow longitudinal fasciae along the veins and a black spot between M3 and Cu1; a pale fuscous marginal line from apex to middle of outer margin; cilia white. Hindwing pure white; cilia white, male with a tuft of yellow-brown cilia at anal angle.

Male genitalia. Uncus strong, the apex pointed, ventral with a tuft of thick setae; gnathos tapering pointed, slightly curved to dorsal; tegumen triangular; valva broad, with protruding pointed apex, costal arm strong, shorter than valva, apart from valva, the apex pointed; juxta plate-shaped, apically with two acuted processes on both sides; aedeagus elongate, without cornutus.

Female genitalia. Anal papillae weakly fused, with dense setae; apophysis posterioris about 1/2 the length of apophysis anterioris; ostium bursae funnel-shaped, slightly sclerotized; ductus bursae long, a lateral enlargement in the base of the ductus bursae and a swollen at middle, corpus bursae rounded, with two rhombus-like signa.

Holotype. IZCAS: 3, Shaanxi, Huoditang (33.4ºN, 108.4ºE), 1979. VIII.23, leg. Han Yinheng (genital slide number C833).

Paratype. IZCAS: 1Ƥ, Shaanxi, Huoditang (33.4ºN, 108.4ºE), 1979. VIII.25, Han Yinheng (genital slide number C1702).

Distribution. China (Shaanxi).

Remarks. In this species, medial line is absent on forewing, that is different with the other species in the genus. In male genitalia, the species is similar to G. bilineata sp. nov., but the aedeagus without cornutus and the costal arm is shorter than valva while in G. bilineata the aedeagus with cornuti and the costal arm is longer than valva.

Etymology. The name is derived from the Latin “ albidus ”, corresponding to the white wings of this species.
