External characters. Wing span 11–12mm. Head and thorax silvery white; labial palpi upturned; antennae tinged with orange-brown; frons white. Abdomen yellowish, dorsal slightly tinged with brown. Forewing silvery white; medial line orange, arising from middle of costa to discocellulares, then bent to inner margin; a dark fuscous spot at the lower angle of cell; submarginal line yellow-brown, from costa to vein M1 then bent inwards to anal angle; marginal area suffused with orange-yellow longitudinal fasciae along the veins and a black spot between M3 and Cu1; a fine black marginal line from apex to middle of outer margin; cilia silvery white, with golden luster. Hindwing white; cilia white, males with a tuft of yellow-brown cilia at anal angle.

Male genitalia. Uncus strong, the apex pointed, ventral with a tuft of thick setae; gnathos tapering pointed, slightly curved to dorsal; tegumen triangular; valva with basal broad and apical contracted, costal arm about the same length as valva, apart from valva, the apex with blunt point; juxta bifid, with two small papillate processes at apex; aedeagus simple, with a row of spine-like cornuti, the length of cornuti shorter than 1/4 of aedeagus.

Female genitalia. Anal papillae weakly fused, with dense setae; apophysis posterioris about 1/2 the length of apophysis anterioris; ostium bursae funnel-shaped, slightly sclerotized; ductus bursae long; corpus bursae elliptic, with two spine-like signa.

Holotype. IZCAS: 3, Xizang, Mêdog, Beibeng (29.2ºN, 95.2ºE), 786m, 2006. VIII.18, leg. Chen Fuqiang (genital slide number C1634).

Paratypes. IZCAS: 13, same data as holotype (genital slide number C1686); 1Ƥ, Xizang, Mêdog, Hanmi (29.4ºN, 95.4ºE), 2120m, 2006. VIII.11, Chen Fuqiang (C1637); 2Ƥ, Xizang, Mêdog, Aniqiao (29.3ºN, 95.1ºE), 1080m, 2006. VIII.12, Chen Fuqiang.

Distribution. China (Xizang).

Remarks. This species is similar to G. bilineata sp. nov. in external characters, but different in following: in external characters, forewing of this species with one submarginal line and without the fuscous spot at the lower angle of cell, while G. bilineata with two submarginal lines and a fuscous spot at the lower angle of cell; in male genitalia, this species with the length of cornuti and juxta shorter than G. bilineata , and the shape of costal arm are different; in female genitalia, this species with the signa of corpus bursae much larger than that in G. bilineata .

Etymology. T he species is named after its type locality.
